Education and early career

Vincent worked in further education at South East Essex College in England, where she taught and was involved in the early adoption of digital learning technologies.

Vincent worked with young aspiring entrepreneurs through the Peter Jones Enterprise Academy, an educational initiative founded by British entrepreneur and Dragons’ Den investor Peter Jones. The programme focused on developing practical business skills and encouraging entrepreneurship among young people.

Around 2006–2007, she participated in a pilot programme introducing Moodle, an open-source virtual learning environment, using the platform to support teaching and student learning.

She completed a Diploma in Teaching in the Lifelong Learning Sector (DTLLS), with additional training in special educational needs (SEN) and inclusive teaching practices. This background in education and communication would later influence her approach to digital marketing training and consultancy.

Vincent studied for a Professional Diploma in Digital Marketing at the Digital Marketing Institute (DMI).

CeADAR and emerging technology

Between 2011 and 2012, Vincent worked at CeADAR, based at University College Dublin (UCD).

Working within Ireland’s emerging artificial intelligence and data analytics sector provided early exposure to the development and commercial applications of these technologies. This experience contributed to her longstanding interest in emerging technology and its potential to transform how businesses operate and engage with customers.

Approach and the Growth Cycle™

A recurring theme in Vincent’s career has been an interest in emerging technologies and their practical applications. Her early involvement with Moodle in education, subsequent work at CeADAR during 2011–2012, and later focus on AI-powered search reflect this interest across different stages of her career. Her approach also emphasises making digital strategy understandable, drawing on her teaching experience and training in different learning needs.

The Growth Cycle™

Vincent is the creator of the Growth Cycle™, a five-stage strategic framework that originated from her unconventional approach to SEO and evolved into a broader methodology for business growth.

Developed through years of practical experience, the framework reflects her belief that effective digital marketing begins with understanding the business as a whole, rather than focusing on individual marketing activities. It brings together business strategy, customer experience and digital visibility, with an emphasis on sustainable growth in an increasingly AI-driven world.
